CAA Medical Certificate Information

CAA MEDICAL CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS FOR COMMERCIAL PILOT'S LICENSE (CLASS I)

1. Create a profile and submit initial documents through the CAA's online application. Click here to apply.
2. Visit for initial medical on Monday at Civil Aviation Medical Board.
3. Collect Fee voucher and pay at Habib Bank Limited. Airport Hotel Branch.
4. Fill out required forms.
5. Following test will be done at Civil Aviation Medical Board (CAMB).

1. Urine test
2. ECG
3. ENT
4. Eyesight
5. Blood Pressure
6. Audiometry

6. After completion of above mentioned tests Medical Board will examine for any major operation or disease and recommend some other test to be done from Agha Khan Hospital. Prior appointment for the tests is required, commonly recommended tests are:

1. HBA1C
2. Random Glucose test
3. X-Ray (Chest)
4. Eyesight
5. ECHO (Heart)
6. EEG (Brain)
7. Psychometric evaluation (only at PAF Masroor Base, Mauripur)
8. Requirement for Psychometric evaluation is EEG report.
9. Tests to be done at PAF Masroor base are: (for entry to base original/copy of CNIC is required)
10. Psychometric Evaluation via personality test and IQ test
11. Drug test via urine
12. Compile AKUH tests and PAF Masroor base results and submit to CAMB.
13. Medical Board will go through all the results and Medical Certificate will be given if no further examinations are needed.

7. Requirement for Psychometric evaluation is EEG report.
8. Tests to be done at PAF Masroor base are: (for entry to base original/copy of CNIC is required)

1. Psychometric Evaluation via personality test and IQ test
2. Drug test via urine

9. Compile AKUH tests and PAF Masroor base results and submit to CAMB.
10. Medical Board will go through all the results and Medical Certificate will be given if no further examinations are needed.

The total charges for the Medical Board are approximately PKR 9,500 but are subject to change as per CAA fee schedules.

1. Create a profile and submit initial documents through the CAA's online application Click here to apply.
2. Visit for initial medical from Tuesday through Friday at Civil Aviation Medical Board.
3. Collect Fee voucher and pay at Habib Bank Limited. Airport Hotel Branch.
4. Fill out required forms.
5. Following test will be done at Civil Aviation Medical Board (CAMB).

1. Urine test
2. ECG
3. ENT
4. Eyesight
5. Blood Pressure
6. Audiomentary

6. Medical Board will examine for any major operation or disease and recommend some other tests to be done from Agha Khan Lab/Hospital. (Prior appointment for the tests is required) Commonly recommended tests are:

1. Complete Blood Count (CBC)
2. HBA1C
3. Full Lipid Profile
4. Random/Fasting Glucose test
5. X-Ray (Chest)

Note: (only X-Ray is done from Agha Khan Hospital the remaining tests can be done from any Aga Khan lab).

7. Compile AKU test results and submit to CAMB.
8. Medical Board will go through all the results and Medical Certificate will be given if no further examinations are needed.

The total charges for the Medical Board are PKR 5,300 but are subject to change as per CAA fee schedules.
